Nueve de cada diez pacientes conservan su implante 15 años después de la intervención. Esto le convierten en una opción muy recomendable para sustituir la pieza perdida.
No necesitan cuidados
Su mantenimiento y cuidado debe ser más riguroso que el de los dientes naturales. Es fundamental realizar una limpieza exhaustiva. Esta debe comenzar con un buen cepillado y completarse con el uso del hilo dental para limpiar los espacios interproximales. Además, el paciente debe acudir a revisiones periódicas para comprobar el estado del implante.
